ABOUT THE ARTIST:

  A native of Mississippi, JP was born in 1972. He began his art career in the early 90s, working primarily in acrylics, creating surreal landscapes reminiscent of Dali. Later he turned to pen & ink, then watercolour. He's now stepped into the digital realm. His work has sold to many private collectors. Authors such as Anne Rice and Poppy Z. Brite own pieces of his art.
  In 1999 he painted guitars for Eddie Van Halen, and has associated with such people as Trent Reznor, Tori Amos, Timothy Leary, Kansas, Boston, Styx, Journey, Stone Temple Pilots, Queensryche, Glenn Danzig, The Misfits, David Lee Roth, Tom Savini, Richard Christian Matheson, and other known celebrities.
  In March 2008 he collaborated with author Neil Gaiman on a piece of art entitled 'Grey People', illustrating a text written by Neil.

  JP is also a poet, lyricist, vocalist/keyboardist, recording under the name Pwyll and with the progressive rock/alternative band Stir of Echoes. 

  He smokes too many cigarettes and drinks too much coffee!
