Here's the latest, and it (along with the weather) fits my mood. I've done several portraits of Poe, but this one's the most satisfying thus far.

It's raining and it's cold here... and I'm feeling very haunted.

Well, my Thanksgiving plans got turned around. I'm currently drinking coffee in Mobile, AL and getting ready to do a bit of shopping. This is what is what they call 'Black Friday', all the sales are going on.

In my 'Coming Soon' section I've added 'The JP Tarot', which I'm currently working on. And the 2009 LE Calender is still in the works as well!

I've just started reading Joe Hill's 'Heart-Shaped Box', and I'll already throw out a recommendation... This guy is an awesome writer, and he's the son of Stephen King!

I bought some comics today, primarily for the Dave Mckean artwork on the covers. Chances are I'll read them and then someday put them in frames!

I bought myself dinner this evening.

This has been a day of doing things simply for myself, while the truth being I wanted to do something for someone else. I was planning on a long drive today, but it was postponed.

Sometimes it's so very difficult to just simply follow your heart.

There are leaves everywhere, and the temp's falling and falling. I hope everyone's close to whatever warms you.

Doug & I.

  Last Thursday night, Oct. 30th, was more like Halloween for me. Actually, it made up for many Halloweens (I think I've had to work on All Hallow's Eve for the past four or five years!). I got to sit front row with my dear friend  (and fellow artist) Phyllis and see Doug Bradley (Hellraiser's Pinhead) perform his one-man show 'An Evening With Death'. If you get the oppotunity, don't miss this show! Afterwards we got the chance to talk with Doug and get autographs and pics. Doug's a very delightful soul.
