My latest!

"...delightfully creepy."

Artist Alan M. Clark said that about my art earlier this week. It still amazes me, all the heroes I'm encountering. Alan's work has always inspired me!

Next Friday, June 5th, I'll turn 37. To believe that there was a time in my life when I would have never believed I'd make it to 25. I've learned a lot over the years. I don't think we just get over bad things, but we can learn to live with them. I've made a lot of mistakes that I've learned from. I'm very fortunate to be here, and very blessed to have experianced so much and to have met so many wonderful people, people who have inspired and influanced me on so many levels. And I want to thank all of you! Here's hoping the future will reflect the beauty of the past!

Tonight's a week ago now that me and my beloved Ember parted ways. We met a little over a year ago. She's my Soulmate; I still believe that. We were physically together for about 3 months, but she was sent back to Arkansas last summer. I'd been doing everything I could to move up there so we could be together, but alas, my financial situation just would not allow it. She met someone else, and even though she said she'd wait for me, I wanted her to be happy above all things... so we went our seperate ways. We were engaged, and I do still love her. Everything happens for a reason, I suppose. Ember taught me the basics of digital art, and I am blessed to have had her in my world.

Depression always invokes creativity... so I'm being very productive!

Me and Artist Larry Elmore! I've admired Larry's work since I was 12 yrs old! It is such a wonderful honor to now be his friend!

First of all I want to thank Raymond, and thank Don for inviting me to come and hang out at the con for the weekend. I'm on the Guest List for next year and that's awesome!

I want to thank author Mark Worrell for re-introducing me to Larry Elmore, who I first met at Coastcon in '91. Larry and I started talking and never seemed to stop during the entire weekend. He's a kindred spirit... it's wonderful and rare when one of your heroes become one of your friends! Thank you, Larry!

Thanks also to the lovely Ilka... your presence brings out the light in everyone!

Great fun! Got to hang out with old friends Steven Butler, Mitch Byrd, Thomas Florimonte, etc, and made some new friends and fans!

Special thanks to Scott for inviting me down! Thanks to Brian & his wife (I'm horrible with names!), Will, John Dell, Eric Powell, and all the other guests and hosts! I had a wonderful time!
