  I haven't done the whole Mardi Gras thing in years, and this one is no exception. I worked. Haven't even had a drink today, other than lots of coffee!

  Gave an old friend some piano lessons tonight.

  Thumbs up again to director Marcus Nispel for the new 'Friday The 13th' remake! When I saw his remake of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' it disturbed me pretty much the same way the original had when I was a kid. I saw the '13th' remake tonight and loved it; many of the scenes were very unnerving! I remember seeing the original in the theater with my parents, watching it with my feet up in the seat and through my fingers! Considering most of the art I produce, it's difficult to get under my skin... Good job, Marcus!

  I've been wanting to see the film, 'Let The Right One In'since I first heard about it a few months ago. I'm told it started today, but only in select cities. Oh well, I special ordered the novel and it came in tonight, so perhaps that will quench my thirst for awhile.

  I'm gearing up to see 'Coraline' tomorrow night!

  Thanks to my dear friend and fellow artist Phyllis, I've been listening to a lot of Tom Waits this week!

  I'm working on my portfolio and some promo stuff at the moment... and trying to stay awake!
